What about gut healing and Homeopathy?
Gut healing. It sometimes feels like a mythical unicorn when you are in the thick of biomedical and nutritional therapy interventions and protocols. Making everything from scratch, probiotics, fermented foods, soaking grains, no grains, high fiber, low fiber. So many different schools of thought, many with differing views that completely contradict. After spending tons of time, effort, and money you may wonder will it ever happen, will it ever work, will the gut ever heal and will recovery ever happen, whatever that recovery may be for you.
The leading alternative medical thought is that in order to heal the skin you must heal the gut, in order to heal the brain you must heal the gut, in order to increase immunity you must heal the gut, and on and on. Many tout the quote from Hippocrates “All disease begins in the gut” and explain how xyz latest research supports this.
I have seen many people turn things around for themselves or their children through this approach, but I have seen just as many have not. I have seen many, after years of desperation, looking at clinics around the world for fecal transplants, with the hope that will finally be the key.
What if there was another way? What if, instead of looking at disease through the viewpoint of the gut, we started looking at disease through the viewpoint of the person? The individual?
Every situation is unique, unique to the individual.
Not every person dealing with eczema, autism, immune dysfunction, etc. has an issue that started, or stems from the gut. Don’t get me wrong, good nutrition, eating a healthy whole food diet is essential to health, it is foundational to health, a cornerstone. My point is that many people will never heal from interventions that focus on the gut, because that may not actually be the source of their disease. Or it may be that it IS the gut, BUT dietary interventions, supplements, therapies, and medications will never do the job to heal the gut in some people.
Homeopathy offers hope for cases like this. It is another road inward to healing.
Examples from cases in my practice:
A case of PANDAS finally resolved after years of intervention and gut healing protocols, by clearing Tylenol and Streptococcus with Homeopathic Detox, followed with a dose of Chamomilla, and a constitutional remedy prescription.
A case of severe gluten intolerance with psychotic episodes and OCD finally resolved with homeopathic treatment with Arsenicum album, after years of biomedical treatment and nutritional therapy with no results.
A case of eczema resolved with homeopathic Sulphur after years of trying to heal the gut with naturopathic and nutritional therapy protocols that brought no change to the skin.
Many people may argue that it actually could have been the gut that the remedies healed, thus healing the body… maybe? But from what evidence would you base that on? You see, with homeopathy it doesn’t really matter. These cases were resolved anyway. Just by simply treating them homeopathically.
Homeopathy focuses on the individual. It focuses on treating the WHOLE person, not just their gut.
As for gut healing and homeopathy, homeopathy offers hope for those who have lost hope. Homeopathy offers another way. If you are looking for another way to approach health and healing, book in for a free introductory consultation.
